Polish driving licence categories
Poland uses standard EU driving licence categories. Each category has its own question set — choose yours below to start practising with official CKK questions.
The most popular category. Allows driving vehicles up to 3.5 t and up to 8 passengers. Also covers trailers up to 750 kg (with combined B+E for heavier ones).
Full motorcycle licence — no engine size or power restriction. Requires at least 2 years of A2 experience or direct access at age 24.
Covers mopeds (≤ 50 cm³, ≤ 45 km/h) and light quadricycles. The youngest licence category in Poland — ideal for teenagers.
Light motorcycles (≤ 125 cm³, ≤ 11 kW). Popular with young riders before they qualify for A2.
Mid-range motorcycles (≤ 35 kW, power/weight ≤ 0.2 kW/kg). A stepping stone toward full category A.
Heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 t. Requires existing category B. Professional licence — needed for most truck driving jobs.
Vehicles between 3.5 t and 7.5 t. A lighter alternative to full category C — useful for large vans and ambulances.
Full-size buses with more than 8 passenger seats. Requires existing category B. Professional licence.
Minibuses with 9–16 passenger seats. Lighter alternative to category D — covers school buses and shuttle vans.
Tractors and agricultural machinery. Common in rural areas. Minimum age 16.
